We stayed at Cardross for a weekend getaway and loved it! The cottage was spacious and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was idyllic, surrounded by peaceful countryside and plenty of outdoor activities nearby. The owner's son was incredibly helpful and hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed evenings around the fire pit and loved waking up to the stunning views and sounds of nature. Highly recommended for a relaxing break!

The cottage itself had everything I needed and the superking bed was very comfortable. Despite being dog-friendly, there was no smell of dogs. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and I would highly recommend this place to others.

Some of the cottages lacked certain amenities such as toilet roll holders and properly functioning bath plugs, which could be a bit inconvenient. Another downside was the comfort of the couch in one of the cottages, which was not suitable for taller individuals and could be a bit lumpy.
